Devops Engineer (Middle/Senior)

• Monitor, manage and improve on-prem (VMware ESXi) and Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for QA team responsible for performance testing of several Veeam products
• Monitor and manage Kubernetes cluster (Rancher/RKE2) and Kubernetes Operators/Deployments/Components (ExternalSecrets, Minio, Postgres Operator, Cluster-autoscaler/Karpenter, HPA, KEDA)
• Improve currently used Ansible playbooks roles to support faster test lab deployments, Add functionality to support new components
• Manage, create new CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Gitlab) for deploying labs, making changes in the configurtions, etc
• Help to automate collection of metrics from test labs to Grafana/Mimir/Loki using Prometheus and OTel collector (Grafana Alloy)
• Support team infrastructure and labs with issues and handle incidents
• Constantly improve tools used in the team, suggest improvements

What we expect from you:

• Good experience with on-prem hosted hypervisors and management tools (VMware ESXi, vCenter), Storages, Networking, VM management 
• Strong experience with system configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or TeamCity)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS public clouds, main components and services (VM instances, s3 storage services, networking, monitoring, configuration via “infrastructure as a code” approaches
• Experience in any programming/script languages, such as Python, Bash or Powershell
• Work well and closely with QA Performance engineers, creating automation to facilitate and speedup their work
• Strong experience with any observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace)
• Ability to analyze infrastructure for weak points. In case of incidents, mitigate them and define required changes to mitigate such issues in the future
• Good understanding of OS components, Networks, Main performance
• A lively and flexible mind, clear logic, self-sufficiency and the willingness to dive into tasks with minimal supervision as fast as possible

Will be an advantage:

• Previous experience or interest in System Performance Testing
• Database management skills, especially Postgres. Configuring, profiling, and analyzing performance issues
