Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales engineers to support the sales process and meet business objectives.
- Develop and execute technical sales strategies in collaboration with sales management.
- Provide technical expertise and support during customer engagements, including product demonstrations and presentations.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product direction.
- Conduct training sessions and technical workshops for both internal teams and customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients in the region.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to guide the development of new solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, with at least 3 years in a management position.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and driving sales initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data storage technologies and solutions.
- Positive energy, optimism and vision.
- Ability to perform in an unstructured environment.
- Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks.
- Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture presentations to customers and trainees.
- Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking and enterprise security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in Japanese and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
