The Role  

As a Lead Oracle DBA, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 8+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. 

You will thrive in this role if you are:

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform Oracle DB installation, upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Support dashboards/reports in Oracle Analytics.
• Manage and support Retail Home tiles, roles, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot DB issues and ensure environment stability.
• Collaborate with dev, infra, and product teams on releases and production support.

Must have:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
• Strong Oracle DBA experience (8–10 years).
• SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Oracle APEX development.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Analytics or BI tools.
• Experience with Oracle Retail Home or similar enterprise portals.
• Linux/Unix scripting exposure.

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle Retail apps (Xstore, SIOCS, RMS, RDS).
• Cloud (OCI/AWS) exposure.
• Basic REST API / JavaScript knowledge.

Soft Skills

• Good client-facing and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
