Senior Software Developer - Java

Aspire Software is looking for a Senior Software Developer - Java to join our team in Lebanon.

What you day will look like:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in Java, following established software development standards and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, design and implement solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in software development best practices and problem-solving.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring the code quality and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance problems, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Stay current with emerging software development technologies and trends, and identify opportunities to leverage them in the development of new and existing software solutions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on technical feasibility and effort estimation.
• Ensure that software development projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and software development principles, including design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax.
• Experience with web application servers such as Apache Tomcat and JBoss.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git and Subversion.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

• Preferred:
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Docker.

• Experience with nuclear safety reporting field, terms, etc...
