This role will work on high-priority projects that may not follow the standard processes and require specific attention or specialized skills. This position will help with planning, implementation, and assessment of projects across various departments, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and are completed efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Research and Analysis: Conducting research to gather data, assess potential impacts, and identify risks or opportunities related to the project.
- Reporting and Presentations: Creating reports, presentations, and other communication materials for stakeholders to keep them informed on project status and outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Identifying challenges within projects and recommending solutions to keep things on track.
- Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, operations, and others, to gather information and insights for the project
- Data Management: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to the project to support decision-making and ensure the project stays within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Tracking progress against set goals, timelines, and budgets, and adjusting plans as needed.

Qualifications
- Strategic Mindset: Analytical and proactive in implementing performance metrics, case resolution strategies, and case backlog management.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize workflow, track performance metrics, and keep accurate documentation. Ability to implement new systems, analyze productivity metrics.
- Communication: Effective communication with various stakeholders (team members, management, clients, or external partners) is critical.
- Project Management Skills: Strategic planning, risk and resource management, time management, team coordination, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Problem solving-critical thinking: Must have the ability to objectively analyze and evaluate an issue to form a judgment.
- Collaboration: Must have the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, vendors, and contractors. Clear communication with these stakeholders is critical to managing expectations, reporting on progress, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Detail Oriented: Must have a detail-oriented approach with the ability to pay close attention to all elements of a project, from planning through to execution, to ensure that nothing is overlooked.
Required Education & Experience:
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- 3-5 years working experience using Power BI
- 3-5 years’ experience as a data engineer or data analyst.
- Experience with federal or state reporting is preferred.
- Experience creating data-rich dashboards with a thorough understanding of Data Visualizations.
- Writing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
- Thorough knowledge of Power Query Editor (especially around transforming and cleaning raw data).
- Knowledge of database management, data modeling, SQL querying, business intelligence, and online analytical processing.
- Understanding of Data Security.
- Understanding of Microsoft BI stack.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel required, JIRA Service Desk, DevOps, and other Windows-based software desired.
