A brief summary of this position:

This position aims to lead the team driving product development and improvement through interaction with local and global teams, as well as guide and direct ongoing activities; Also, it should have a portfolio of extensive experience consolidated in other companies, which will help in the enrichment of the team's activities.

Roles and Responsibilities: Name the 6 main activities that will be performed in the position.

• Report to the Product Engineering Supervisor.

• Assist in Global Engineering calls and interact with other engineering leaders around the world, sharing information, communicating tasks, controls, updating projects etc.

• Lead, solve and address local and global developments according to the outlined roadmap.

• As required, execution of training sessions for Distributors, Customers and internal staff.

• Implement, monitor and evolve with the development of the project following the project deliveries and tasks.

• Professional who will be encouraged and ultimately responsible for putting together presentations, addressing product-specific training, as well as additional technical materials as needed, such as comparisons, spec sheets, and product information guide.

• Seek data for product improvement through information collected from Customers, Distributors and internal team.

• Prepare project reports by collecting and analyzing the data received or captured in the field.

• Analyze all project needs, such as development of new components, tools, devices, machine tests and product cost.

• Travel as needed (approximately 10-15% of the time).

• Constantly connect with the Engineering, After-Sales and Technology team locally and globally.

• Can lead and/or supervise improvement actions arising from the field, together with the Quality team.

Prerequisite (which is indispensable for the occupation of the position).

• Reside in Uberaba/MG.

• Continuously disseminate the knowledge learned to the other professionals on the team.

• Ability and personality to calmly deal with and mitigate tense situations in the field and in product development.

• Effectively communicate to the team the demands, general updates, ideas and questions assigned.

• Be self-taught and able to work without immediate supervision.

• Actively organize meetings to address action items and guided tasks.

• Apply your skills to deliver bold, disruptive product experiences that anticipate user needs and exceed user expectations.

• Support other departments to help complete ongoing projects.

• Motivate the team involved.

• Boost global projects from Uberaba, requiring effective communication skills and leverage other stakeholders.

• Coordinate the development of the project, preparing a schedule of the steps to be completed by the departments involved.

Technical skills. (Hard Skills).

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related.

• Relevant experience in large-scale new product projects.

• Desirable experience in machine communication.

• English with advanced level.

• Valid driver's license, availability to travel (10-15% of the time, approximately).

• CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Inventor and Creo).

• Windchill software.

• At least 6 years of experience in the irrigation or metallurgical equipment industry or other agribusiness segment.
