Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Vacasa is the largest vacation rental property management company in the world with more than 45 000 rental units.

Our Software Engineering Team is currently developing a comprehensive ticketing application designed for the property management industry. The app will serve property owners, guests, housekeepers, and managers, providing an all-in-one platform to streamline communication and operational planning.

What you will work on:

• Ticketing System for managing guest requests, maintenance issues, and housekeeping tasks
• Real-time communication between property owners, managers, housekeepers, and guests, ensuring swift responses to service requests
• Work Planning & Scheduling for housekeepers and maintenance teams, with task prioritization and calendar integration
• Owner and Guest Access for submitting requests and tracking responses
• Task Assignment for managers to delegate work to housekeepers and maintenance workers, with live updates on task status
• Notifications & Alerts to keep everyone informed about task updates, deadlines, and urgent requests

Tools and technologies we use:

The app will leverage modern technologies like Typescript,  React, Node.js, and AWS to ensure high performance, real-time updates, and seamless integration with third-party services.

Skills you'll need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with React
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code 
• Minimum 3 years experience with Typescript
• Experience with modern backend development (we use Typescript and Node.js deployed on AWS)
