The Opportunity
Are you a collaborative full-stack Software Engineer with good knowledge of Go and React? Would you like to work for the market leader in human insights technology?
You will be involved in challenging projects and initiatives that directly contribute to the growth and success of UserTesting, whilst employing industry best practices such as pair programming, refactoring, code review and continuous deployment.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with technical and subject matter experts to deliver class leading products.
- Advocate and lead-by-example best practices in pair programming, refactoring and code review.
- Ensure maintainability, performance, and scalability of the code.
- Work effectively within a team environment, to regularly solicit and act on feedback, focus on root causes, and continually strive to improve.
- Collaborate naturally with peers and functions outside of engineering, and with peers who are both remote and co-located in the UK, Spain and North America.
What we are looking for
- Experience coding in Go.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Engineering practices such as refactoring, CI/CD, pair programming, and code reviews.
- Significant experience working with APIs (REST, gRPC, graphQL) in a service oriented architecture.
- Experience with agile development processes such as Lean/Scrum/Kanban/XP.
- Experience with ArgoCD, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Preference for individuals living in Scotland

- Salaries for the engineering jobs on our site range from $100K-$200K. On average, senior engineer positions on our EchoJobs are about $160K.
