Job Description

Position: Chef Automation Engineer

Duration: 6-12 Months

Location: Sterling, VA

Interview: Phone & F2F(Can do Skype with Non-Locals)

Qualifications

Description of Services: Need a Chef Automation Expert to work on automation and continuously deliver applications, containers, security, Infrastructure and Compliance.Requirements and Criteria:

• Chef cookbook development and upkeep

• FTP/sftp management (proftp administration and account creation)

• Cobbler/kickstart (cookbook and system upkeep)

• OMD/Check_Mk (monitoring of system health and upkeep)

• Corporate Yum repository management

• Jenkins cookbook testing and release (fix failed jobs and increase code/test quality)

• AWS yum repository management includes cookbook verification

• Security CVE updates to yum repo and cookbooks

• OS template creation and release (creation the vmware template and place on all clusters)

• HP hardware/chassis tier3 type support

• Chef deployment troubleshooting
