A Brief Overview
The US LBM Digital Product Manager is responsible for the innovation, development, and optimization of US LBM's Operation technology platform. This position will collaborate with the digital product management leadership team, senior operations leaders, engineering, and key business stakeholders to execute a digital product strategy to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the organization.

What you will do

  • In collaboration with the Digital Product Management team, drive a technology product roadmap to help US LBM Sell the Whole Home including technology to support internal and external user customers.

  • Use data and high-quality business judgement to develop analytical insights that drive both strategy and tactics for implementation success for the business leaders.

  • Work with partners in the operations, sales, engineering, business process and data analytics teams to get digital product solutions designed, built, deployed and optimized to deliver business impact.

  • Be a great business partner, focused on collaboration to drive results.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Digital Product Management or related leadership roles in complex, matrixed organizations.


Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in strategic planning, digital product lifecycle management, technology build vs buy decision making, and customer-centric innovation.

  • Strong background in leveraging analytics to guide strategic decisions, with experience in data science a plus.

  • Experience in building materials, supply chain, B2B distribution or related industries.

  • Experience with transportation management, route optimization, or dispatch planning platforms, with hands-on experience configuring and optimizing solutions such as Descartes LNOS Route Planner. 

  • Proven ability to leverage route optimization technology to improve routing efficiency, truck utilization, on-time delivery, and overall operational performance. 

  • Experience evaluating routing configurations, analyzing optimization outcomes, and partnering with operations to continuously improve dispatch workflows through data-driven decision making. 


Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to establish and drive technology product innovation to deliver operational efficiency.

  • Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and drive key strategic initiatives.

  • Advanced proficiency in leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to inform product features and business impact.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various functions.

  • A "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, with the ability to manage high-level strategy while diving into the details when needed.
