Job Description

Elavon is seeking the position of Software Engineer (Remote – Multiple Openings) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design, test, develop, operate and maintain software products;

• May design APIs and apply applicable patterns across several contexts/codebases, in accordance to agreed best practices and standards;

• Use a range of tools to detect an incident and resolve incidents;

• Review tasks critically and ensure they are appropriately prioritized and sized for continuous integration and incremental delivery;

• Define technical designs based on scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field of study. Must possess 2 years of experience as an Engineer, Developer, Analyst, Consultant, Specialist or a related occupation.

In lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field of study, plus 5 years of experience as an Engineer, Developer, Analyst, Consultant, Specialist or a related occupation and 5 years of experience in: (1) CSS; (2) HTML; (3) Java; (4) JavaScript; (5) Jenkins; (6) SOAP; (7) SQL; (8) Tomcat Application Server; (9) Oracle Database; (10) Spring Boot; (11) Apache Camel; (12) Salesforce.
