U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Multiple openings) in Hopkins, MN.

The Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. This role takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. In addition, this position works with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Specific duties include: (1) designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; (2) performing Unit testing, QA testing and performance testing; (3) reviewing tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; (4) anticipating and communicating blockers and delays before they require escalation; (5) developing SQL scripts and procedures for data load from different databases to data warehouse; (6) implementing analysis & design of ETL processes; (7) working with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra; (8) working with Cloud technologies including AWS & Azur; (9) developing UNIX code and shell script to automate the batch process; (10) providing production support and Root Cause Analysis & problem solving; and (11) working with ETL processes for data Integration, data mapping and data conversion from various sources including Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, Vertica and Flat files using Informatica Power Center.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Applications and 5 years related (progressive, postbaccalaureate) UNIX code and shell script experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing UNIX code and shell script to automate the batch process; (2) developing SQL scripts and procedures for data load from different databases to data warehouse; (3) performing Unit testing, QA testing and performance testing; (4) working with ETL processes for data Integration, data mapping and data conversion from various sources including Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, Vertica and Flat files using Informatica Power Center; and (5) working with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $141,878 - $155,000. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
