U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Principal AI Research Scientist (multiple positions) in Palo Alto, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct Artificial and/Machine learning (AI/ML) Research, implementing AI/ML solutions through the entire research, analysis, and development lifecycle.
• Source and gather data to build models and algorithms, conduct experiments and synthesize and communicate results of analysis.
• Design, develop, and deliver AI/ML solutions for experimentation and adaption within the enterprise.
• Administer data access, data management, and eventual platform integration of AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with other organizations within the company to define the optimal AI/ML solution deployment architecture and hosting environment.
• Identify and explore new growth opportunities using AI/ML technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field, and 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:

Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) research and solution development; Developing cloud-based environments; API’s and software packages for computer vision, deep learning, voice/speech recognition and NLP; Open-source AI/ML technologies including Keras, NumPy, Pandas, Scikitlearn, SciPy, TensorFlow, and Deeplearning4j; and Pyspark, Python, R, and SQL.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $148,699.00 - $285,600. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
