Job Description

U.S. Bank National Association is seeking the position of Data Scientist (multiple positions) in Minneapolis, MN.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data.

• Gather and integrate large volumes of data for big data and analytics projects.

• Develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

• Implement and validate predictive models as well as create and maintain statistical models.

• Measure and monitor results of applied recommendations and present adjustments.

• Ensure all data acquisition, sharing, and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field, and 2 years of experience as a statistician, or a related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have at least 2 years of experience with each of the following: predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization, Python, R, and SQL. Telecommuting available anywhere in US.
