Description
As the new Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and integration of the software components so that the product meets its present and future goals.

The role will be completely hands-on - writing well-formatted code and demonstrating expertise in usability, and standards, working with preferred development methodologies

You will be part of a team where the main action happens but based on your interests you can also take part in other virtual international teams (e.g. architecture).

Location of choice:
· Partially remote – remote and sometime in the Varna office
· In-office – Varna office is in the vicinity of the railway station

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features
  • Coordinate and work with other developers and teams
  • Independently solves various problems through the application of design patterns
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Performs regular reviews
  • Implement, test, and manage software programs

Skills & Experience We're Excited About:

  • Education: University degree in Software Engineering or a proper course in Software Engineering (SoftUni or alike)
  • Solid knowledge of OOP principles
  • Solid knowledge of Java Core
  • Knowledge of Unit Tests
  • Knowledge of Maven or similar tool
  • Experience with Git source control systems
  • Basic knowledge of Java EE/Jakarta EE
  • Basic knowledge of REST APIs
  • English – High level of communication skills

Nice to Have, but Not Required:

  • Professional experience of 2+ years
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge with Docker, Docker Compose or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge with AWS
  • Knowledge with Kafka
  • Knowledge with JMS
