About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Developer with knowledge in RPG400 on the AS400 Platform to support the analysis and design to development, implementation, testing & support of the Channels & EAI solutions, focusing on host integration and ensuring seamless system performance. Experience with AS400 servers, DB2 databases, and familiarity with DevOps and Aldon is a plus. The candidate will be responsible for working with the business analysts to understand and assess the business requirements and to provide technical solutions. You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Develop and maintain AS400 Channels & EAI applications using RPG400
- Implement and support host integration solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless deployment and system performance
- Document processes and contribute to process improvements
- Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
- Proficiency in RPG400 programming language and DB2/400
- Hands-on experience with host integration techniques & processes
- Knowledge of AS400 server and DB2 database
