Description
Untether AI is looking for an experienced AI Infrastructure Solutions Architect. You will be tasked with creating a best-of-breed rack-scale system, encompassing Untether AI’s inference acceleration cards, servers, networking, and full-stack inference serving software solutions. You will be the center point of this development, working with Untether AI’s hardware engineering, software engineering, and product teams. You will also work with our key partners and customers in setting up Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) and scale-out solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect Untether AI’s rack-scale solutions including accelerator cards, servers, networking, and rack topologies. Selecting, integrating, and testing best of breed hardware and full-stack software.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving stakeholders to a shared vision and delivering a best-in-class solution.
- Work with business development teams to recommend and deliver rack-level solutions to partners and customers.
- Dogfooding - you will be expected to test, bulletproof, and recommend the systems you create to partners and customers. Hands-on capability is a must.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the compute/server/datacenter industry, with 3 years of exposure to accelerated AI solutions using GPUs or custom AI accelerators. Must have successfully specified, built, and deployed rack-scale hardware and software infrastructure.
- Experience working at AIaaS cloud service providers, on-prem datacenter, or high-performance computing labs is highly desirable.
- Superb interpersonal skills: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a group environment, with the proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without having direct managerial authority.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to to resolve complex issues that may have a high level of ambiguity.
