  • Information Technology Services (ITS)

  • Full-time, fixed-term position through to December 2027

  • Base salary will be in the range $95,361 - $102,302 + 17% super (HEW Level 6) 

  • Based at our St Lucia location

About This Opportunity

As a Senior Officer, Cyber Security Governance, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation’s security posture by embedding robust governance, risk and compliance practices across a complex and evolving digital environment. Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you will contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of cyber security frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organisational priorities.

You will bring a proactive, detail-oriented approach, partnering with stakeholders to uplift cyber maturity, manage risk, and support informed decision-making across the enterprise. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of cyber security governance, policies and standards

  • Monitor, assess and report on cyber security risks, compliance obligations and control effectiveness

  • Coordinate governance activities including risk assessment, reviews and assurance processes

  • Engage with stakeholders to embed security best practice

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in cyber security governance, risk and compliance, ideally in a complex or enterprise environment

  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements

  • Proven ability to assess risk, analyse controls and support governance processes and reporting

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across diverse teams

  • Strong written communication skills, with experience preparing reports, policies and governance documentation

  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a structured way

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical recommendations

  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and organisational impact
