Quantitative Methods in Health Sciences: Categorical Variables (2.5,0,1) 3 cr.

Introduction to analysis of categorical variables. Applications of both descriptive and inferential statistics to integrative health biosciences, behavioural and clinical data. Use of computer applications to analyze, manage and present scientific data. Emphasis on probability, hierarchical loglinear analysis and logistic regression.

Minimum requirements:

- Masters-level degree in health sciences (or equivalent) in statistics or quantitative methodologies.

- University-level teaching

- Training in: health statistics, use of statistical software, health research.

Thursdays from 2:30:00 PM to 4:50:00 PM, IN PERSON

Labs: Fridays from 10:00:00 AM to 10:50:00 AM, HYBRID
