L’opportunité

Nous sommes l’équipe Games, Entertainment & Technology (GET), un groupe de développeur(se)s de logiciels et d’artistes techniques hautement qualifié(e)s possédant une expertise approfondie de la plateforme Unity. Nous sommes passionné(e)s par le fait de mettre à profit notre expérience industrielle et nos connaissances techniques pour aider à élever les projets de nos clients dans le domaine du jeu vidéo vers le prochain niveau de fidélité visuelle et de performance.

Au quotidien, vous interviendrez sur des projets clients dont la durée est comprise entre une semaine et plus d’un an. Vous apprendrez et collaborerez avec d'autres vétérans de l'industrie pour travailler sur des projets critiques sensibles aux performances, démontrant l'excellence en ingénierie Unity.

Ce rôle peut impliquer des déplacements occasionnels au sein d’autres bureaux Unity ou chez nos clients.

Ce que vous allez faire

• Travailler directement avec des studios de jeux externes pour analyser et optimiser les performances des CPU et des GPU dans les projets de nos clients de jeux vidéo
• Aider l’équipe à produire un code de haute qualité qui mettra en valeur les performances et les capacités graphiques de Unity afin de permettre à nos partenaires et à nos clients de réussir
• Analyser le code source de Unity pour mettre à jour vos compétences et vos connaissances
• Établir des relations étroites avec les équipes de développement internes de Unity, et vous faire porte-parole des développeur(se)s afin d’avoir un impact positif sur la feuille de route de Unity

Ce que nous recherchons

• Des compétences dans au moins une API graphique (par exemple Direct3D, OpenGL, Vulkan et/ou Metal) et un langage de shader (par exemple HLSL, GLSL)
• Une capacité à développer et à déboguer du code écrit dans une grande base de code multifilière en C# ou C++ en utilisant un moteur multiplateforme (par exemple Unity, Unreal ou un moteur maison)
• Une connaissance en la manière de profiler et d’analyser les performances à l’aide d’outils populaires dans l’industrie, notamment Nsight, PIX, Razor ou RenderDoc
• Une expérience en matière de réalisation de plusieurs jeux ou d’autres applications interactives en temps réel, dont une compréhension avérée des cycles de vie du développement logiciel
• Une capacité à communiquer clairement des idées et des connaissances techniques

The opportunity

We are the Games, Entertainment, and Technology (GET) team, comprised of highly skilled Software Engineers and Tech Artists with deep expertise in the Unity platform. Our team is dedicated to leveraging our industry experience and technical knowledge to elevate our gaming customers' projects to new heights of visual fidelity and performance.

In this role, your day-to-day work will involve managing customer projects that range from one week to over a year. You will have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other industry veterans on critical, performance-sensitive projects that showcase Unity engineering excellence.

This position may occasionally require travel to other Unity offices or customer locations.

What you'll be doing

• Work directly with external game studios to analyze and optimize CPU/GPU performance in our gaming customers' projects.
• Contribute to the team by delivering high-quality code that demonstrates Unity's performance and graphics capabilities, enabling our partners and customers to achieve success.
• Keep your skills and knowledge current by analyzing Unity source code.
• Build close relationships with Unity's internal development teams and advocate for developer feedback to positively impact Unity's roadmap.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in at least one graphics API (e.g., Direct3D, OpenGL, Vulkan, or Metal) and shader language (e.g., HLSL, GLSL).
• Ability to develop and debug code within a large, multithreaded C# or C++ codebase using a multi-platform engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal, in-house).
• Expertise in profiling and analyzing performance using popular industry tools such as Nsight, PIX, Razor, or RenderDoc.
• Experience in shipping multiple games or other real-time interactive applications, with a solid understanding of the game development lifecycle.
• Clear communication skills for conveying ideas and technical knowledge.
