Senior Test Analyst

Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

• Applies advanced knowledge of testing principles, methodologies and techniques to test and ensure software / platform quality.
• Works with engineering teams to define testing strategies for new and existing applications.
• Develops and executes functional, integration and system tests.
• Develops and executes load, scalability and performance tests.
• Designs and develops test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
• Reviews code for accuracy and quality.
• Takes the lead on difficult defect detection, problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Detects problems where standard practice and / or software has failed to meet client requirements.
• Addresses escalated technical defects identified by less experienced team members.
• Leads team members in writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions.
• Assists in driving organizational activities / initiatives. 

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• NZ Citizen/PR holder would be preferred
