Job Description

What success looks like in this role:

• Break down functional and business requirements into tangible, clear, and estimable technical solutions, providing recommendations to management and project stakeholders.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications and modules leveraging platform best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities wherever possible.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, IRM, CMDB, Employee Center, Integrations, and custom applications as required.
• Design and implement integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Flow Designer, and third-party platforms.
• Write and maintain automated tests to improve code quality, regression coverage, and platform stability.
• Ensure quality, security, performance, and adherence to development standards, architectural principles, and governance requirements.
• Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and solution validations to ensure compliance with established development and architecture standards.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, testers, product owners, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable long-term solutions.
• Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, platform modernization activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support platform upgrades, patching activities, release management, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Contribute to CMDB, CSDM, Platform Analytics, AI, Virtual Agent, and automation initiatives as part of the broader roadmap.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Mentor junior developers and team members, promoting development standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, scope changes, technical debt, and operational challenges, communicating variances and mitigation plans to management and project teams.
• Ensure all solutions are designed with scalability, supportability, security, and long-term platform sustainability in mind.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
