Job Summary 

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test management best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Create and maintain automated test cases, test scenarios, and reusable test frameworks using JavaScript, WebdriverIO, Cucumber Framework, and MochaJS.
  • Develop and execute API automation tests to validate application functionality and system integrations.
  • Perform mobile application testing using Appium, Android Studio, and iOS Simulator (Xcode).
  • Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack to ensure compatibility across multiple environments.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines) or similar tools such as Jenkins.
  • Manage source code repositories using Azure Repos and Git, following version control best practices.
  • Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews to support continuous quality improvement.
  • Perform performance and load testing when required using JMeter (preferred).
  • Explore and implement modern automation tools such as Playwright to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Software Test Automation, QA Automation, or a similar role.
  • Strong experience in writing automated test scripts using JavaScript, WebdriverIO, Cucumber Framework, and MochaJS.
  • Hands-on experience with API Test Automation.
  • Experience with mobile test automation using Appium, Android Studio, and iOS Simulator (Xcode).
  • Proficient in version control using Git and Azure Repos.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines) or Jenkins.
  • Experience using BrowserStack or similar cloud-based device testing platforms.
  • Knowledge of Playwright and JMeter is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile development practices.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
