Principal Engineer - Industrial Metaverse

UL Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer for Industrial Metaverse with expertise in virtual products like PLC’s, Internet of Things, Cloud and EDGE computing, Digital Twins, Artificial Intelligence, EMC, RED and Cyber security. Expertise in Functional Safety is a plus. The trend to virtualize key functions of products towards a ‘Software defined xxx’ requires additional skills and expertise within our PrE team. This role acts as a Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) within our principal engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in related products and standards. This role requires a strong client-facing mindset, technical leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
 

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in any UL office.
