About the role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and development of highly technical projects to facilitate our responsibilities of Automation, Monitoring, Reliability, Efficiency of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven history working with a SaaS product in a leading Cloud Provider. You will join a small continuous learning driven team that covers a large domain of automation and management of the platform through DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our developer platform, ensuring its usability, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation for infrastructure, application CI/CD and validation of both.
• Work closely and collaboratively across teams, including product management, security, and wider UKG teams, to plan and execute against the developer platform roadmap.
• Analyse and understand metrics, performance, reliability of systems.
• Promote and provide continuous improvements to our Release Management.
• Analyse metrics, performance, reliability of systems/applications and take action on them.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a devops/sre/platform engineering role.
• Working experience with CI/CD tooling (github, terraform, Ansible, Grafana, etc).
• Working experience with Infrastructure as Code and public cloud, ideally AWS or GCP.
• Systems-Level Programming language experience - Golang/Python is our current stack.
• Working experience with orchestration technologies – docker, hasicorp nomad, Heroku, Kubernetes, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
