We are building highly available, scalable data infrastructure, services, tools, and libraries to serve critical data discovery, ML/data pipeline development & deployment, data security & compliance, and self-healing data operation needs.
What you’ll be doing

Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python and various data tools.

Work on data-intensive applications and implement big data processing solutions using Apache Spark and other relevant technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Contribute towards Udemy's comprehensive data quality initiatives like data contracts, data validation, observability, and alerting

What you’ll have

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.

Extensive experience with data processing and big data technologies, particularly Apache Spark.

Strong knowledge of cloud services and platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Solid programming skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.

Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
