As a member of the Data Conversion team, the Sr. Lead Conversion Engineer is responsible for leading teams that work on retrieving and reviewing client data to ensure effective and timely conversions.  The Sr. Lead Conversion Engineer helps clients and other Data Conversion team members understand acceptable Tyler extract formats and content requirements.  This team member also validates the integrity and completeness of received extracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to meet deadlines for the delivery of client data. 
  • Manage own and teams' workload to meet strict deadlines. 
  • Demonstrate ability for logical and abstract thinking.  
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems. 
  • Provide leadership to team of data conversion engineers to drive accountability and achieve data conversion timelines across multiple projects.
  • Attain knowledge of technical/business environment.
  • Perform routine, repeatable conversions tasks with little/minimal direction. 
  • Learn new technologies and concepts quickly. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
  • Analyze, extract, and transform data from non-Tyler databases into designated Tyler databases.
  • Develop and execute data conversion plans, including data validation and reconciliation. 
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure successful data conversion and integration.
  • Provide technical support to end-users during the data conversion process.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to data conversion.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data conversion activities. 
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field preferred but not required. 
  • Experience with data mapping, data conversion, and data validation.
  • Fluent in SQL development.
  • Oracle and/or SQL Server database coding experience (table creation, stored procedures, ETL scripts)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skill, teamwork, and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to follow through until processes are complete.
  • Ability to work well within deadline-oriented structure. 
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment. 
  • Desire to learn new things.
