Tyler Technologies is looking for an innovative, talented, and passionate Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of industry-leading Public Safety solutions.Ā  We are looking for an engineer who will take a key role on our team long-term. You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.Ā 
Ā As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, leveraging AI tools, development frameworks and third-party libraries.Ā

Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and Vue.jsĀ 
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable codeĀ 
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new features and functionalityĀ 
  • Understand user requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needsĀ 
  • Design and implement database structures, integrate APIs, and implement security measuresĀ

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Strong background in web development, with considerable experience in Laravel and Vue.jsĀ 
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptĀ 
  • Proficiency in Laravel, including experience with database design, integration with APIs, and queue jobsĀ 
  • Strong experience with unit and integration testing in LaravelĀ 
  • Strong understanding of web security principles and best practicesĀ 
  • Comfortable with using Claude Code, Codex, or similar agentic tooling
  • Interested in developing AI enabled features
  • Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and software engineering best practicesĀ 
  • Proficiency with Structured and NoSQL Databases including MySQLĀ 
  • Experience with Cloud Services like AWS is a plusĀ 
  • Experience with inertiajs and Laravel Nova is a plus
