Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost & Change Lead to support major infrastructure program's in Queensland. This role will be responsible for managing program budgets, cost control, and change governance across multiple workstreams.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of contractor claims and variation analysis
  • Maintain accurate cost reporting and tracking
  • Prepare monthly cost reporting
  • Coordination of change function and reporting

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in project controls, ideally within the rail or infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of cost systems, change control processes, and financial forecasting
  • Ability to interpret cost trends, manage contingencies, and provide actionable insights
  • Experience with SAP, Unifier, and PowerBI for integrated cost and change reporting
  • Skilled in facilitating decision-making forums and advising on change procedures and approvals
  • Ability to integrate with governance, cost, and risk functions to ensure program-wide alignment
