• Duties and Responsibilities: 
• The candidate would have preferred experience in primary Radar systems to support a team of various engineering disciplines in the definition, design and test of complex radar systems.  Position would include some of the following tasks:
  • Support the systems life cycle design and compliance with the technical requirements of the project
  • System requirements decomposition, derivation and allocation to the individual engineering disciplines
  • System design and interface documentation development
  • Support Customer Interface and Interaction through Technical Interchange Meetings, Design Reviews, Training Sessions and Verification events.
  • Generate Test and Integration methodology and documentation
  • Post Delivery Field Testing/Support including analysis of Targets

• Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics from a four-year college, Master’s is preferred, with 5+ years of systems engineering experience
  • Generation of systems requirements, design documentation, interface documentation and management of requirements using DOORS
  • Functional knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF), Radar system elements (i.e. antennas, receivers, transmitters, and processors) is preferred
  • Experience with common lab test equipment operation; experience in Systems Integration, Traceability and Test.
  • Desirable relevant experience includes:
    • Background in radar signal processing in the aerospace industry
    • Data analysis using MATLAB, or equivalent
    • Proposal development, Basis Of Estimate (BOE) development, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

• Other:
  • Occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be required, airline travel must be acceptable
  • Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
