Service Engineer (Laser Technology)
Your Role:
- To provide service solution for TRUMPF Laser and other high-power laser products, primarily for major assigned client(s) and for other customers as well
- Field service and technical In-house Support for TRUMPF Vietnam
- Responsible for repair, maintenance, installation and training of machines
- Resolve high level technical machine and operational problems for customers by inspection and diagnosis of machine, spare parts identification and recommendations to customers
- Input detailed records of service and repair into company information systems, including technical problems, action taken and spare part used to correct problems
- Report discrepancies, unresolved or recurrent problems to the service manager
- Support on solid State Laser at the National Support Centre (NSC)
- Implementation of SIS projects and upgrades on Solid State Laser at TRUMPF subsidiaries and service agents (Service Information System)
- Implement strategies processes to continuously improve cost, speed and quality of TRUMPF services
- Stay up to date with new product introductions
- Interface with other departments or subsidiaries necessary to obtain answer to technical problems
- Any other tasks or projects assigned by Service Manager
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related fields
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Able to travel extensively
- Knowledge of laser applications is an advantage
- Customer oriented, team player and growth mindset
- Service mind and customer oriented
