Associate Director, Product Engineering

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical and product direction of solutions across Trinity's portfolio
• Contribute to solution architecture and build components of these solutions end-to-end
• Translate consulting methodology and client context into product requirements, data structures, and solution designs
• Contribute directly to AI/ML initiatives and development of agentic capabilities
• Support data-product design across sourcing, structuring, and modeling decisions
• Work alongside consultants and subject-matter experts to ensure solutions meet client needs

Required experience

• A track record of taking software or data products from concept to market
• Range across the stack: comfort operating as a software architect, hands-on engineer, and product owner within the same project
• Strong grounding in modern data and application architecture
• Working knowledge of AI/ML systems, including agentic systems architecture
• Consulting or client-facing experience in life sciences, pharma commercial, or an adjacent analytics-heavy domain
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, work independently, and set direction for others once a workstream matures
• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field

Nice to have

• Experience designing data products
• Experience with commercial pharma analytics or launch analytics
