JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join the Security Engineering and Automation team in India. The Manager will help lead a team of security engineers focused on various security functions including but not limited to cloud security, security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) and identity and access management (IAM).
The Manager will be responsible for leading the India Security Engineering and Automation team to deliver timely, high-quality results that support key program activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of security engineers based in Hyderabad, including individuals focused on various security functions including but not limited to cloud security, security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) and identity and access management (IAM).
- Provide daily oversight and support to ensure team members are effectively executing assigned tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assigned work packages and deliverables.
- Monitor progress and provide guidance to team members to meet deadlines.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Provide project management support as needed, including planning and/or tracking of project milestones and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
Security Engineering:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the SOAR platform, including the configuration and management of playbooks, workbooks, and connectors to ensure smooth workflow execution and integration with other security tools.
- Provide support for cloud security engineer who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining cloud security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they meet compliance requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide support and oversight for IAM engineer who will be responsible for managing privileged access management (PAM) solutions, establishing and maintaining secure authentication methods and proper identity hygiene.
- Act as a liaison between the security team and other departments, communicating security needs, risks, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Review and validate various security engineering recurring metrics.
- Foster a culture of security within the engineering team and across the organization by promoting best practices and security-first thinking
- Maintain open communication and regular updates with Security Engineering senior management team on progress, outcomes, and challenges.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
One or more of the following desired but not required
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience with 2-3 years of management experience.
