Description

Job Summary

The Associate DevOps Engineer will work closely with the Cloud Operations teams in India and North America to ensure infrastructure uptime, enhance security, and optimize costs. The role involves improving software release quality through automation, collaborating with development teams, and continuously enhancing infrastructure and processes. Additionally, the engineer will document procedures and stay current with industry trends.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of Windows support/ SRE/ DevOps  experience.

  • Analytical skills to prioritize relevant points of consideration and determine the best course of action.

  • 1+ years of Azure cloud ( Compute,Network & Storage ) experience.

  • At least 1 years working with a SaaS product / Cloud service

  • Experience configuring Windows platforms

  • Good knowledge on monitoring tools. 

  • Basic knowledge on Windows Powershell or  any Scripting skills

  • Basic understanding of any ticketing system.

  • Ready to work on 24/7 rotational Shifts (If necessary).

Job Description

Windows:      

  • Knowledge of Active Directory: support AD, manage Domain Controllers and member servers.

  • Manage Group Policy and User Account creation, security, and auditing.

  • Lock down user’s machines, deploy software, design logon/logoff scripts, Printer management.

  • Troubleshooting system/server errors and Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.

  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.

  • Set the infrastructure monitoring, backup reporting, and website monitoring alerts.

  • Should know how to debug/troubleshoot volume, CPU and memory issues etc.

DevOps/Tools:

  • Knowledge of Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and deploying applications on Azure/ AWS

  • Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production & non-production platforms.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. (preferred Azure DevOps)

  • Knowledge of container orchestration platforms Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Amazon ECS

  • Basic understanding of any ticketing system with ITIL process.

Azure (Optional):

  • Azure subscription management & Implementing Azure multi-factor authentication

  • Knowledge on Azure Blob storage, Managing Azure VNET & Monitoring resources and workloads in azure. 

  • Implement solutions that use virtual machines (VM)

  • Implement batch jobs by using Azure Batch Services

  • Good knowledge on Azure virtual machines (Deploy, Configure and Backup).

  • Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production & non-production platforms.

  • Implements backup and restore management process for Applications & file system.

  • Experience with Azure is must, Web hosting, DNS Management, Virtual Hosting.

  • Set the infrastructure monitoring, backup reporting, and website monitoring alerts.

  • Should know how to debug/troubleshoot volume, CPU and memory issues in the Azure Cloud.

AWS (Optional):

  • Experience using AWS Cloud platform

  • Maintaining the built web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like EC2, ELB, RDS, and S3

  • Maintaining cloud-native applications

  • A reasonable background in AWS/Windows and Windows server system administration in AWS environment
