Software Engineer- Internship

Tricentis, a global leader in continuous testing and quality engineering, is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our Tosca team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and test automation while working with cutting-edge testing technologies. NOTE: This role is based in Austin, TX with a hybrid, in-office/remote work environment requiring 3 days in office per week.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and enhancing features for Tricentis Tosca, our flagship test automation tool

• Collaborate with experienced software engineers to design and implement new functionalities

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality

• Help create and maintain automated tests

• Support the team in debugging and resolving software issues

• Gain exposure to Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong programming skills in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python)

• Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Familiarity with Agile development practices
