The objective of TW Engineering Group 0 is to build the core technologies and threat intelligence that power all Trend Micro products. As Threat Defense Experts, we stay one step ahead of attackers by delivering innovative solutions and actionable insights that strengthen Trend Micro's cybersecurity foundation.

We are seeking an Engineering Manager with exceptional AI transformation leadership capabilities to lead a talented team of engineers and researchers in advancing Trend Micro’s AI-driven detection and intelligence capabilities. You will define AI strategies and technical directions, drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams, and ensure research and engineering outcomes align with business priorities—while fostering people growth, innovation, and continuous learning to shape the future of AI-powered cybersecurity defense.

Responsibility

• Promote an AI-aware culture and lead the team’s transition toward smarter, data-driven development and decision-making.

• Drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, including AI-related tools and analytics, to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.

• Collaborate with global R&D and product teams to align technology initiatives with business needs and ensure seamless integration into Trend Micro’s solutions.

• Plan and execute improvement projects that enhance system scalability, reliability, and threat defense capability.

• Support the development of technology roadmaps and best practices that encourage continuous innovation and responsible use of emerging technologies.

• Lead, mentor, and develop team members—cultivating a learning culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and professional growth.

Key Qualification

• Experience in leading or coordinating technology or process improvement initiatives within software development or R&D teams.

• Familiarity with AI concepts, data analytics, or automation tools, and an interest in driving their practical use in engineering.

• Strong project management and change management skills—able to turn strategic ideas into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Proven leadership in developing and motivating team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Agile, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business priorities.

• Clear communicator capable of explaining technical topics and innovation directions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
