Senior Data Analyst - Supply Analytics

Department: Analytics

Location: Amsterdam / Remote

Employment Type: FullTime

Are you a commercially minded data analyst who enjoys turning messy marketplace data into tools, metrics and business cases that people actually use? Do you want to own the analytics behind the supply side of a fast-growing travel marketplace?

At Vio, we believe booking accommodation should feel fair and effortless, never overwhelming or unclear.

As one of the world’s fastest-growing travel tech platforms, we help millions of users make smarter travel decisions by comparing stays across 100+ booking sites so that they can find the best place, at the best price, anywhere in the world.

Our goal is to help travelers book like an insider. That means cutting through the noise and complexity of hotel booking and surfacing real value with clarity, transparency, and full support. No tricks. No confusion. Just great stays, booked with confidence.

With operations in 100+ markets and growing fast, our mission is to reshape how people discover and book accommodation through technology that travelers can trust.

🔍 Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to own supply analytics, partnering closely with our Supply Partnerships managers to make every supplier conversation, integration decision and commercial negotiation data-driven.About the role

You will be the analytical backbone of the Supply Partnerships team. Vio works with dozens of supply partners (OTAs, wholesalers, chains), and each one differs in availability, price competitiveness, commission terms and reliability. Your job is to make that landscape measurable and actionable.

This is a stakeholder-facing, ownership-heavy role. Rather than answering one-off questions, you will build the self-serve tools, monitoring and metrics that help partnerships managers answer most questions themselves and step in with deeper analysis, business cases and experiments where it matters most.

☑️ What you’ll do

  • Own supply performance metrics

    • Define, own and monitor the KPIs of each supply partner: bookings, GBV, commission rates, availability, price competitiveness, cancellation behaviour

    • Be the go-to person for what changed in supply performance and why

    • Detect and diagnose performance shifts proactively, before partners or leadership ask

  • Build tools for partnerships managers

    • Design and build self-serve dashboards, reports and analytical tools that partnerships managers use in day-to-day provider management and negotiations

    • Build LLM-powered self-serve tools - we believe LLM agents are the right interface for partnerships managers to answer their own data questions, and this role is expected to develop the skills to build them properly: encoding metric definitions, vetted queries and domain knowledge into agent skills so the answers are trustworthy

    • Standardise how provider performance is measured and communicated, internally and with partners

    • Reduce repetitive ad-hoc requests by productising the most common analyses

  • Business cases & commercial support

    • Build business cases and scenarios for commercial negotiations: commission tiers, rate access, new feed types, throttling and traffic allocation

    • Support prioritisation of new provider integrations with sizing and opportunity analysis

    • Help leadership shape the long-term supply strategy with data on inventory strengths, weaknesses and trends

  • Experimentation

    • Design and run A/B tests for supply-side changes (e.g. enabling a new feed, changing provider configuration) and communicate results and recommendations clearly

    • Know when a simple test is enough and when a question needs a different measurement approach

  • Raise the analytics bar

    • Share knowledge with other analysts and contribute to best practices across the analytics chapter

The team

You will work closely with:

  • Supply Partnerships managers, who own the relationships with our providers

  • Product managers and engineers working on provider integrations and the marketplace

  • A horizontal analytics chapter for knowledge sharing and peer review

You will report to Gleb - our Marketplace Analytics Lead.

🔎 Who you are

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience using data to drive commercial or product decisions

  • Strong ownership mindset: you have owned metrics, reporting or a business domain end-to-end before

  • Excellent SQL skills and experience building data models and dashboards (Looker, Tableau or similar)

  • Experience building tools or reports for non-technical stakeholders, and the empathy to make them genuinely usable

  • Comfortable constructing business cases: sizing opportunities, modelling scenarios, making a clear recommendation

  • Working knowledge of A/B testing and basic statistics

  • Excellent communicator, experienced in managing internal (and ideally external) stakeholder relationships

  • Able to independently lead ambiguous, high-impact analytical projects

  • Experience building LLM-based tools for data work (agents, assistants, text-to-SQL, prompt-engineered workflows) or, at minimum, a genuine desire and demonstrated initiative to develop this skill set; we see LLMs as the right interface for stakeholder self-serve analytics and expect this role to lead that

Nice to have

  • Experience in travel, OTA, or marketplace supply/commercial analytics

  • Python for analysis and automation

  • Experience supporting commercial negotiations with data

  • Experience with agent frameworks or LLM APIs (e.g. Claude, MCP, agent skills) in an analytics context

❓Why join us now?

  • We’re one of the fastest-growing accommodation booking platforms in the world today, having grown our bookings 30x between 2017 and 2025, and catering to the needs of millions of travelers each year. We do that by harnessing the power of advanced algorithms and an innovative suite of product features.

  • In 2026, we underwent a company-wide rebrand and launched our first StoryTelling marketing campaign in the UK. This was the next step in our commitment to help travelers book like insiders, and to establish Vio as a consumer-facing, creative brand.

  • The mobile applications (iOS and Android) we launched in 2023 have been a big success, reaching 5 million installs and earning strong customer reviews.

  • We’re a passionate and diverse team of tech enthusiasts and creatives, with a commitment to the traveler above all else.

  • We reward our employees for the value they create by granting Stock Appreciation Rights to all employees.

➕ What we offer

  • Plenty of chances to learn and grow within an open, diverse culture that promotes knowledge sharing, trust, and transparency.

  • A great compensation package, perks, and benefits – including significant stock appreciation rights.

  • Flexible time off, with as many holidays as you need, and a chance to work remotely.

  • You’ll be part of an international team in one of the best office locations in Amsterdam

  • We value good food and offer catered lunches from various cuisines, great coffee, and the occasional barbecue in our garden.

  • We enjoy getting together to celebrate our wins, with company events in Amsterdam and abroad.

  • A budget for your home office

  • Access to free mental health support via OpenUp

We encourage people from all ethnic groups, genders, sexuality, ages and abilities to apply. If this job description resonates with you, we want to hear from you!

Please note: Although this role can be remote, we are only considering candidates based in GMT-2/+3 timezones to optimise team and work alignment.
