Job Description

  • Formulate overall project design strategy, confirm design scope, technical standards and implementation plan according to client requirements and project bidding documents.
  • Lead front-end design, conceptual design, basic design and detailed design of offshore oil & gas equipment including platform facilities, process system, mechanical & electrical system, piping and supporting structures.
  • Review and approve all design drawings, technical specifications, design calculation documents and construction technical guidelines, rectify design defects and optimize design solutions.
  • Manage daily work of design engineers, assign design tasks, track design progress, solve key technical difficulties and promote smooth design delivery.
  • Conduct professional technical docking with clients, owners, third-party supervision and design institutes, respond to technical inquiries, complete design clarification and technical negotiation.
  • Cooperate with bidding and commercial teams, provide professional technical support for project quotation, bid technical reply and scheme optimization.
  • Evaluate offshore construction feasibility, marine environment adaptability, construction difficulty and potential technical risks, put forward reasonable risk prevention and improvement suggestions.
  • Define technical division of responsibilities with subcontractors and suppliers, review vendor drawing data and supervise compliance with design requirements.
  • Organize design technical disclosure, follow up site construction matching conditions, timely adjust design scheme according to actual site situation.
  • Keep updated with international offshore oil & gas industry codes, new technologies and new standards, continuously optimize team design capability and work process.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with commonly used international standards and industry codes in the oil & gas industry.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong teamwork spirit, and proficiency in office software (MS Office, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering disciplines; English proficiency as a working language
  • At least 2 years of hands-on detailed design management experience for offshore and onshore oil & gas facility EPC/EPIC projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating and supervising multi-disciplinary detailed design teams.
  • Familiar with commonly used international standards and industry codes in the oil & gas industry.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong teamwork spirit, and proficiency in office software (MS Office, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering disciplines; English proficiency as a working language.

Additional Information

  • At least 2 years of hands-on detailed design management experience for offshore and onshore oil & gas facility EPC/EPIC projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating and supervising multi-disciplinary detailed design teams.
