IT Project Manager - ESG, Health & Safety

Main Purpose:

Plans the IT projects and ensures that they are delivered to relevant stakeholders on time, within scope and within budget.

This will be executed across multiple projects within ESG, Health & Safety team. The candidate will manage relationships and expectations with business stakeholders and sponsors and support development and test teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle and BAU.

The candidate will be expected to apply structured analysis and problem solving in areas they maybe not have business domain knowledge and experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

• Broad knowledge of ESG and Health&Safety domain (must-have)
• Proven ability to act as a bridge between the business and highly technical developers located in remote offices
• Expected to have 4+ years’ experience of business analysis specifically in implementation and support of Enterpise IT, preferably for ESG or Health&Safety domain
• Gets the right team and leverages them appropriately: Business Analysts, Change Managers, vendors (where applicable), developers, architects etc.

• Strong Change Management skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines (must-have).
• Experience of a variety of software development methodologies (e.g. continuous integration, iterative development) and software product implementation, upgrade, maintenance and support. Experience of defining requirements for interfaces between application components or systems and support in the development and testing thereof
• Able to self-manage and regularly prioritise and plan activities across multiple project workstreams.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of business processes and associated technology.
• Work effectively within an inclusive team and actively support the development of individuals and teams, both formally and informally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the BAU delivery and product support for Cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with business stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor the vendor functional team members for the entire project area.
• Staying abreast of developments within the ESG & Sustainability space, both in terms of relevant legislation and IT advancements.
• Oversee Trafigura’s IT Knowledge Base within the ESG & Sustainability space, ensuring that information is accessible and up to date.
• Leverage IT technologies to support ESG & Sustainability policy initiatives within Trafigura.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Trafigura’s ESG & Sustainability business stakeholders, providing insights from Business Processes and IT solutions perspective to support the integration of ESG & Sustainability considerations into Trafigura’s business strategies and operations.
