Main Purpose:

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Transformation Team (DTT) to build and accelerate an enterprise-wide capability for delivering Digitisation solutions with a focus on Business Process Digitalisation and in particular: streamline and automate processes to digitise and scale our business; implement the group AI strategy; harmonise the technology tools across the various teams and platforms currently in use today.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Perform current state assessment of existing processes through interviews, time activity analyses, process observations, and surveys

  • Working very closely with other teams within DTT i.e. Document AI and Strategic System Integration.

  • Development of user stories and customer journeys to identify pain points and digitization opportunities

  • Consults with business stakeholders to develop future state product design through sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes, communicating rationale for design-related decisions to senior business leadership as needed

  • Consults with business stakeholders and assess business case development to estimate potential value realization from digitization opportunities

  • Ensuring product meets intended design and organizational standards and requirements

  • Translating user testing insights and feedback into actionable solutions

  • Architecting solutions using AWS services and microservices architectures.

  • Collaborate closely with Cloud Platform team to utilise modern CI/CD methods with automated deployment.

  • Monitoring of digital product performance and maintenance requests; evaluates products in use by business stakeholders and tracks KPIs and metrics to determine the success of specific design decisions

  • Plan Digital product training for end users

  • Implement product design best practices to support user-centric, digital experiences on multiple platforms

  • Implement digital product design standards and methods

  • Practice continuous education on next generation technologies and emerging trends

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience re-imagining, designing, and digitizing capabilities and processes into digital products and tools

  • Ability to understand and develop business requirements, define product features, and design end-to-end digital user experiences, balancing business needs with simple, intuitive, and engaging user-centric solutions

  • Experience with design hand-off to Developers and Engineers through detailed documentation and specifications

  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Solutions Development, Digital Experience, and Applications Delivery management is must.

  • Knowledge of Web technologies (Angular, ReactJS), NodeJs,  JAVA Spring boot, various AWS components e.g. Step Functions

  • Python, Lambda etc is added advantage.

  • Exposure to design principles, user-centric design, design thinking, lean / agile methodologies and tools

  • Knowledge of the latest UI/UX standards, trends and tools

  • Prior experience and involvement in digital transformation preferred

  • Highly collaborative with proven ability to work in and manage expectations within cross-functional, global teams

  • Possess deep user empathy, obsessive about user experience, and passionate about resolving user pain points through design

  • Ability to interact and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Key Relationships and Department Overview:

The DTT will have 3 teams:

  • Document AI – focusing on using OCR and AI technology to digitise documents and extract information from them

  • Business Process Digitalisation (BPD) – mapping repetitive business processes and developing applications/workflows for Digitalization

  • Strategic System Integration (SSI) – focussing on creating a solid technological underpinning allowing for two-way data flow into and out of core Trafigura trading systems.

This position is under BPD while expected to work very closely with DTT teams, various Business functions and other technology groups.
