WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You will be part of the team tasked with taking our trading infrastructure to the next level, by designing the platform from scratch, utilizing best in class technologies, including proprietary frameworks developed in-house, which enable us to move packets at the speed of light. Be hands on order and execution management, smart order routing, risk systems, and full trading lifecycle. 

  • Interact with domain leadership in order to understand requirements while directly contributing to revenues for the firm
  • Be part of cross-functional product teams delivering mission-critical features and services
  • Build and test services using modern tools 
  • Design distributed services focusing on high availability, low latency and scalability Proactively take responsibility for long-term code quality and architecture
  • Collaborate closely with peers from other teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Share your knowledge about tools and technology that remove manual processes, reduce tedious tasks and increase efficiency and reliability

 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • You have at least 5 years experience in software engineering (preferably in Java or C++) 
  • You have developed and shipped scalable features within a service oriented architecture
  • You will fit right in if you care about process optimisation when it comes to latency, high-throughput, and scalability in a distributed architecture.
  • You care deeply about domain modeling and messaging, and communication protocols with built-in high availability.
  • You feel comfortable in an agile environment and have a self-driven personality with a “hands-on” approach, able to identify and solve problems independently and efficiently
  • You feel comfortable working in an environment with strict requirements for user data protection
  • You are passionate and understand financial instruments (nice to have), and have prior experience in external partners integration and maintenance
