WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Working with our existing Android Guild to help build new and maintain existing features in the Trade Republic app
• Being involved in our feature processes, working closely with the product and design team to help refine our new features 
• Work in a fast paced agile environment, where you will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities and ownership
• Work closely with other team members, helping to mentor, develop and grow the team

• You have a strong understanding of the Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Knowledge of modern software patterns like MVVM, Coordinators, Functional Reactive Programming (we use RXJava)
• You care end to end by implementing UI and unit testing techniques(we use JUnit, Mockito and Espresso)
• You care about quality, and know the best ways to achieve this both in code and for the product itself
• You have an eye for detail and a passion for a great UX and UI (we work with Jetpack Compose) and you are keen to work closely with our designers and product team to achieve this
• You are a well rounded software developer who understands the importance of communication (both technical and business)
