Job Description

The Project Manager I is responsible for simultaneously overseeing and leading multiple small to medium technology projects within specified timeframe, scope, and quality standards. This role involves gathering and controlling project scope, managing the implementation and delivery of new technology and infrastructure capabilities across our venues while involving multiple cross functional stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout. This role is assigned work of moderate to high complexity and with assistance from other project managers and leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning: Work with our business partners to figure out project scope, and then with the appropriate delivery teams to document their needs and feedback. Update and edit templated project plans and schedules to meet project goals, revising as needed for individual project nuances. Engage necessary resources, defining roles and responsibilities within the project team.
• Execution: Responsible for all project documentation, updates to stakeholders, and ongoing communications. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, and quality.
• Assists the IT PMO in defining and implementing project best practices. It’s a team effort; we need your help! Documentation is paramount to our success.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience
• 3+ years leading large scale projects
• 2+ years leading cross-functional teams
• 1+ years Project Budgeting
• 1+ years Technology Procurement
• Create and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or other tools; managing task dependency, resourcing, milestones, etc.
• Ability to establish credibility with business partners and IT stakeholders and become a trusted partner
• Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Analytical thinking, and Time management skills
• Strong customer focus
• Technical troubleshooting skills
• Travel: 20 - 30%
