Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and is ready to grow in an exciting role? Join TOMRA, a world leader in sorting and recycling technology, at our Mining Test Centre in Sydney! We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Test Centre Technician to help keep things running smoothly in our test facility.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare Samples: Crush, label, and organize geological samples for testing.
• Handle Shipments: Pack and track test samples, organize transport, and manage incoming shipments.
• Stay Organized: Keep samples well-documented and neatly arranged.
• Operate Equipment: Use forklifts (training provided) to move heavy items.
• Maintain the Facility: Help with cleaning, maintenance, and some manual tasks.
• Support Clients: Assist visiting clients during test sessions.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-On and Flexible: Enjoys variety and can adapt to different tasks daily.
• Willing to Learn: Ready to get a forklift license and complete safety training if needed.
• Physically Fit: Comfortable with manual work, including lifting and moving materials.
• Team Player: Works well with others and treats everyone with respect.
• Good Communicator: Clear with both spoken and written instructions.
• Experience Helps: Background in warehousing, forklifting, or similar is a plus, but not required.
• Driver’s License: Must have a valid Australian license.
