Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Digital Software Developer to join our digital team!

We are currently expanding across multiple teams that build solutions on data coming from our fleet of 80000~ Reverse vending machines (RVMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications using cloud technologies and a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Currently we run our solutions on Google Cloud platform(GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and effective

Qualifications

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field.
  • Strong proficiency developing solutions using Java
  • Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Firebase or similar is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
