Team Introduction
The IT Infra, Global Infrastructure Reliability and Excellence team at Bytedance owns the entire IT Network and Compute infrastructure outside of China. The group is responsible for designing, building and operating a high-performance enterprise infrastructure that connects all Bytedance users and services. With users around the world, reliability, scalability, efficiency and high availability are our team’s core concerns.

The Difference You Will Make:
As a member of the IT infra team, you will be working with talented engineers on cutting edge technologies. You will contribute to the key infrastructure components that connect all Airbnb users and services across the globe. You will have the chance to define and influence large infrastructure initiatives such as data disaster recovery plans for key global IT infrastructure services and next-generation office compute resources.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company's IT infrastructure.
- Participate in system design, architecture design, and code review to ensure systems meet high availability, high performance, and scalability requirements.
- Responsible for infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, virtualization, etc.
- Monitor system running status, timely identify and solve problems.
- Write automation scripts (Shell, Python, etc) and tools to improve work efficiency and system reliability.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem solving, and develop solutions.
- Participate in developing and improving operation processes and standards.
- Continuously learn new technologies and improve personal skills.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or related roles.
- Familiar with data center hardware, including servers and storage devices.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, familiar with common commands and operations.
- Familiar with common application systems, including Nginx, MS SQLServer, MySQL, Redis, etc.
- Familiar with virtualization products, such as VMware vSAN.
- Familiar with automated operation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Familiar with monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Holds one or more of the following certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- ITIL(®) 4 Foundation
- PMP Certification
- Familiar with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, etc.
- Familiar with DevOps concepts and practices.
