The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. Our product engineering team is responsible for building an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users. Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining the e-commerce module within the TikTok app, focusing on features such as product browsing, search functionality, and order placement to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver new features aimed at enhancing user experience on the TikTok Shop.
- Implement new features and functionalities according to design specifications and user requirements, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct performance analysis and profiling of the TikTok Shop to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Support the debugging and troubleshooting of issues reported by QA and end-users, and contribute to bug fixes and performance optimization efforts.Minimum Qualification:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years experience in mobile app development for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, or Java, and familiarity with mobile development frameworks and tools.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualification:
- Hybrid cross-platform development experience.
