Software Engineer - Business Account Traffic Strategy

TikTok is one of the fastest-growing apps globally, and we’re looking for Software Engineers to join our Ads Core team to support that growth and help us empower creators, connect people, and explore possibilities. Our Ads Core team is a platform team that develops state-of-art Ads technologies, including ranking, retrieval, targeting, bidding, auction, etc., for the Ads system that empowers billion-dollar business.

Personalized online advertising is a major revenue source for Internet companies nowadays. It is one of the most attractive fields in the Internet industry for top talents interested in solving exciting technical challenges, e.g., increasing monetization efficiency, improving Ads experience for users, and bringing a better return on investment (ROI) for advertisers.

What You'll Do:

• Develop ranking strategies to improve business account delivery experience, e.g., combating low-quality commercial content.
• Care about system scalability and reliability, understand the importance of experimentation framework, monitoring, and alerting.
• Conduct data analysis for real business account issues. Good communication skills are needed to work with our customers/PM team.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Go, C/C++, Python.
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good understanding in one of the following domains: ranking algorithms, ML techniques, and online advertising/recommendation systems
• Good knowledge in one of the following areas: deep learning, backend, large-scale systems, data science, full-stack.
