Our Business Integrity team has a strong user focus and a dedication to technical excellence. We aim to meet our users’ needs with reliable and high-performing platforms and services. We are looking for strong machine learning engineers who are excited to grow their business understanding, build highly scalable machine learning models, and partner across disciplines with global teams, in pursuit of excellence. Given the fast growth of TikTok in the world, we are working on building a next-generation content understanding system for TikTok monetization. We are seeking machine learning engineers at all levels experienced in machine learning, which can help us create an ecosystem that rewards high quality user experience and advertiser value.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to the following Internship:
We will prioritize candidates who can commit to a minimum of 6 months, with full-time preferred. If part-time, minimum 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on AIGC models, focusing on cutting-edge areas such as text-to-image, text-to-video, large language models (LLMs), multimodal LLMs, and reinforcement learning.
- Produce high-quality research outputs e.g. patents, paper publishing.Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in common machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., classification, clustering, regression) and proficiency in at least one deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Extensive experience in at least one of the fields of Computer Vision or NLP.
- Prior experience with AIGC-related algorithms and practical applications is preferred.
- Solid programming skills with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking abilities, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. A high sense of responsibility, curiosity, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with publications in top-tier AI conferences and journals (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL) on AIGC-related topics are preferred.
