The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. About the Role As team leader in Eco Ops, you will be the owner who drives end-to-end management of data service projects from request evaluation to project closure, responsible for their successful delivery of high quality and efficiency, while playing a role in enhancing our team's overall operational efficiency and strategies. You will work closely with product managers, machine learning engineers, and other global stakeholders to drive the success of data labeling projects and model performance to ensure user experience. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Responsibilities 1. Own and manage the end-to-end operations of labeling projects, and responsible for evaluating requests, planning projects, managing human resources, ensuring data quality, monitoring progress and risk, and analyzing data to maintain and enhance efficiency and quality performance for successful project delivery. 2. Collaborate closely with diverse global cross-functional teams, including product managers, machine learning engineers, and other global stakeholders, to drive the success of data labeling projects and model performance to ensure the experience of our users and products and explore cutting-edge AI technologies and enhance our team's operational efficiency and strategies. 3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various phases and milestones in project management, with the capability to anticipate risks and address issues proactively. 4. Possess a deep understanding of business pain points and collaborate closely with team members to develop tailored strategic plans that align with organizational and business growth objectives. 5. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various business models and their development characteristics, enabling efficient and agile management, and the establishment of a highly effective team.Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or above. 2. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English 3. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with global cross-functional teams and project stakeholders. 4. Data and business-oriented with a goal-driven approach, capable of abstracting and decomposing complex business scenarios, and making informed judgments and decisions on key issues. 5. Fast learner with strong motivation and passion for AI trends, model training, data annotation, and social media platforms 6. Experience in team management or leadership roles, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility, excellent time management skills, and the ability to proactively coordinate resources and solve problems under pressure 7. Demonstrate strong initiative, proactivity, and resilience Preferred Qualifications 1. Candidates with experience working in regional/global environments are preferred 2. At least 2 years of people management experience 3.
